Objective To analyze the clinical effect of rehabilitation nursing for elderly patients with diabetes. Methods Now, 82 elderly patients with diabetes who received treatment in our hospital from January 2021 to September 2022 are taken as the analysis objects in this paper. The method of computer random selection is divided into two groups to carry out nursing research, a total of 41 cases in the observation group and 41 cases in the control group. Patients in the control group are treated with routine nursing management, and rehabilitation nursing is given to patients in the observation group. The results of the two groups of nursing programs were compared. Results Compared with the control group after nursing, it was found that the health knowledge mastery, medication compliance and daily self-management ability of patients in the observation group had been significantly improved, and the results were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Finally, the blood glucose control effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group, and there was statistical significance in the comparison of index results between groups (P < 0.05). The quality of life of patients and the nursing satisfaction score were significantly higher than the control group, the index results between groups were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Rehabilitation nursing can effectively improve the quality of nursing management for elderly patients with diabetes, enhance their medication compliance and daily self-management ability, ensure that the blood sugar index of patients is controlled within a reasonable range, reduce the occurrence of complications, and reduce the impact of the disease on the health and life of patients.
