Objective To explore the effect of enterostomy system nursing after palliative colon cancer surgery. Methods 90 patients with colon cancer who underwent enterostomy operation in our hospital during 2022.1-2022.12 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to different nursing methods, 45 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the observation group received systematic nursing intervention. The self-care ability, quality of life and complication rate of the two groups were compared after nursing intervention. Results The self-care ability of the observation group was significantly stronger than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). The quality of life in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). Conclusion Systematic nursing has a significant effect on postoperative enterostomy nursing of colon cancer patients, which can effectively improve patients self-care ability, improve patients quality of life and reduce the incidence of complications, and is worthy of clinical application.
