This paper explores the new application-oriented talent cultivation mode of business administration major. With the rapid development of the global economy, the position of business administration majors in higher education is becoming more and more prominent, but the traditional cultivation mode can no longer meet the diversified needs of the society. The cultivation mode of new applied talents aims to cultivate talents with innovative spirit and practical ability to adapt to the current social development trend. This paper reveals the connotation and characteristics of the model through analysis, including clear talent cultivation goals, diversified curriculum system, the importance of practical teaching and the integration of vocational quality education. These features help to improve the quality of talent cultivation and the ability to adapt to social needs, and provide theoretical support and practical guidance for higher education reform.
