Objective To study the effect of follow-up nursing under comprehensive assessment on blood glucose, blood pressure and medication compliance in patients with hypertension combined with diabetes. Methods 95 patients with hypertension combined with diabetes who were treated in our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected to participate in the study, and the patients were divided into two groups. The control group received routine follow-up care, and the observation group received follow-up care under comprehensive assessment of the elderly. The changes of blood glucose and blood pressure after nursing were compared between the two groups. Results After follow- up care, blood pressure and blood glucose were decreased in all patients, and medication compliance was improved. Meanwhile, the changes after care in the observation group were better than those in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion In the follow-up nursing of patients with hypertension combined with diabetes, the application of comprehensive assessment of the elderly can improve the nursing effect, effectively improve the symptoms of patients, and improve the compliance of patients.
