Objective To analyze the effect of psychological nursing intervention on the perioperative mental health of patients with intracranial tumors. Method 72 patients with intracranial tumors requiring surgical treatment admitted to our hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 were included in the study. They were randomly divided into an experimental group and a reference group using a random number table method, with 36 patients in each group. The reference group received routine nursing care, while the experimental group received psychological nursing intervention on this basis, and the nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Result After using psychological nursing intervention, the experimental group showed better scores in terms of psychological status, quality of life, and nursing satisfaction than the reference group, with significant differences between the groups (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of psychological nursing intervention in the perioperative care of patients with intracranial tumors can effectively reduce their negative emotions, improve their quality of life, and thus improve nursing satisfaction.
