Objective To study the impact of limb training combined with traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation therapy on the quality of life of elderly patients with cerebral infarction during the provision of nursing services. Methods Elderly patients with cerebral infarction who received treatment in our hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as samples for this study. After sample screening, 106 patients who were included in this study were randomly divided into a control group (53 cases) and an observation group (53 cases). On the basis of routine treatment for patients, limb training was conducted for the control group during the nursing service development period, to conduct a study on the effectiveness of nursing care for different groups of patients by combining limb training with traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation therapy for the observation group. Results In the observation group, patients received limb training combined with traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation therapy, and their quality of life scores were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05); At the same time, a survey was conducted on the incidence of adverse reactions and nursing satisfaction of patients, and the observation group had a significant advantage in indicators (P<0.05), which was statistically significant. Conclusion While providing treatment for elderly patients with cerebral infarction in clinical practice, The nursing model of combining limb training with traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation therapy can help improve the quality of life of patients and also ensure the goal of patient satisfaction with nursing care.
