Objective To analyze the role of integrating humanized nursing into the nursing process of the operating room in improving the nursing effectiveness of the operating room. Methods The selected research sample consisted of 80 patients who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from January 2022 to April 2023. They were divided into a control group and an observation group based on the time of surgery. The control group received routine operating room care, while the observation group received humanized care. The psychological status before and after nursing, incidence of adverse events within 3 days after surgery, and postoperative quality of life of the two groups of patients were compared. Results The total scores of the Self Rating Anxiety Scale and the Self Rating Depression Scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); The incidence of adverse events in the observation group within 3 days after surgery was 5.00%, lower than the control groups 25.00% (P<0.05); The postoperative quality of life in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Incorporating humanized nursing interventions into operating room nursing can alleviate patient psychological stress, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, and improve patient quality of life after surgery, which is recommended for use.
