Objective To observe the effect of narrative nursing on improving the negative psychology andquality of life of patients with breast cancer after surgery. Methods Combined with the way of comparative nursingobservation, 37 patients with breast cancer who underwent surgery from February 2021 to September 2022 wereselected as subjects. The subjects were divided into the control group (17 cases, conventional nursing) and theobservation group (20 cases, narrative nursing) by double blind method. The psychological status and quality of lifeof the two groups were analyzed. Results There was no difference between the two groups in terms of the negativeemotion of the patients with Hamilton Anxiety Scale score and Hamilton Depression Scale score beforeintervention (P>0.05). After intervention, the observation group was better than the control group (P<0.05). Bycomparing the quality of life of the two groups, the scores of each dimension in the observation group were higherthan those in the control group (P<0.05). Nursing satisfaction and compliance of patients in the observation groupwere higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Narrative nursing can improve the psychologicalstatus of patients, improve the quality of life of patients during recovery, and increase patients satisfaction withnursing work when providing nursing services for breast cancer patients.
