Objective To explore the role of different color labels in the management of sterile goods.Methods In April 2022, the department used different color labels to assist in the management of sterile articles,that is, red and yellow labels were selected, and each color represented different meanings. Nurses attachedcorresponding color labels in the management process in combination with the type of sterile articles. Observe themanagement quality of 6 months before and after the auxiliary management with different colors. ResultsCompared with the statistics of the wrong storage location of sterilized articles and the number of expired articleswithin 6 months before and after the implementation, the number of sterilized articles after the implementation wassignificantly better than that before the implementation, P<0.05. Compared with before and after theimplementation of sterile goods management, the satisfaction of medical staff on management was significantlyhigher after the implementation than before, P<0.05. Conclusion The reasonable use of different color labels in themanagement of sterile articles can effectively guarantee the comprehensive quality of the management work in thisarea, reduce the rate of expiration of sterile articles, increase the satisfaction of medical staff in this area, andimprove the use rate of sterile articles.
