Objective In order to improve the blood sugar level of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes,improve their health behavior, and actively face the disease, to further explore the application effect of peer nursingintervention combined with personalized diet guidance, and to provide reference for clinical practice. Methods 80elderly patients with type 2 diabetes who received disease treatment in our hospital from January 2021 to December2021 were randomly selected as the subjects of study. The above patients were equally divided into 40 cases bydouble blind method. Results The nursing intervention effect of the observation group was better, the bloodglucose level of the patients was significantly improved after nursing, and all indicators had obvious advantages.The data difference between the groups, P<0.05, showed that there was a comparative significance. ConclusionThe analysis shows that peer assisted nursing intervention combined with personalized diet guidance cansignificantly improve the blood sugar level of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, and can also improve the healthbehavior of patients so that patients can calmly face the disease. The nursing effect is significant and the applicationvalue is good. It is suggested to vigorously promote the application of this nursing program.
