Objective To analyze the application value of internal "8" suture in perineal wound of puerpera. Methods A total of 173 parturients admitted to our hospital from April 2022 to September 2022 were selected as research samples and divided into the experimental group (n=46) and the reference group (n=127) by double-blind method. Parturients in the experimental group received internal "8" suture, while parturients in the reference group received conventional suture. Postpartum wound healing and VAS score were compared between the two groups. Result In terms of postpartum healing, the experimental group was higher than the reference group (P<0.05). In terms of VAS score, the experimental group was lower than the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application effect of internal "8" suture in the perineal wound of puerpera is remarkable, which can promote the wound healing of puerpera, reduce the degree of postpartum pain of patients, and improve the comfort of patients after delivery, which is worthy of promotion.
