Territorial space planning is a comprehensive planning system that plays an important role in guiding and controlling the development and utilization of land resources, remediation and protection. In practice, it often has strict control requirements on land, minerals and other resources. In the new era of territorial space planning, scientific standardization and rationalization of planning have become the basic requirements for the development and utilization of national land resources and the development of characteristic industries. Therefore, tourism planning based on the new era of territorial space planning should be repositioned to explore the transformation of the development path, in order to achieve sustainable development of tourism planning. Based on tourism planning, firstly, the paper systematically elucidates the incompatibility between tourism planning and territorial space planning in the new era.
