Objective To explore the strategy of comprehensive treatment of intussusception in children and the effect of selecting appropriate treatment methods according to the evaluation of the condition. Methods To evaluate and analyze the condition of 368 children with intussusception in Ordos Central Hospital from April 2020 to April 2022, and select appropriate treatment methods according to comprehensive treatment strategies, such as simple manual reduction of intussusception, air enema reduction and laparoscopic balloon dilation intussusception reduction, and analyze and summarize the treatment effect. Results In 289 cases of simple manual reduction, 232 cases were successful, with a success rate of 80.2%; 57 cases failed in manual reduction and were replaced by air enema, 55 cases succeeded in reduction; 79 cases of intussusception were successfully reduced by air enema directly, 136 cases were successfully reduced by air enema, 134 cases were successfully reduced by air enema, and the success rate of reduction was 98.5%. Two children with failed air enema were treated with laparoscopic Foley catheter balloon dilatation and reduction plus appendectomy. The operation was successful, and they were cured and discharged 5 days later. Conclusion According to the principle of comprehensive treatment strategy, children intussusception can be treated safely and effectively by selecting appropriate treatment methods according to the condition evaluation, which can achieve the good effect of intussusception reduction with the least trauma, the least complications and the fastest recovery .
