圆觉经变像浅析

摘要
佛教造像是时代特征、工匠技艺、民众信仰、在地文化的艺术产物,《圆觉经》作为汉地佛教的重要经典,在西南地区广泛传播,其“分同华严”的特性属于“中国化”的范畴,所以对于圆觉经变像进行探究不失为一种剖析佛教中国化的一种方式。本文通过对川渝地区圆觉经变像、主要在于大足宝顶圆觉洞石窟进行研究,从“造像依据”这一视角出发,结合时代背景、人文特点、信仰特征等方面,分析圆觉经变像可被凿刻出的原因,进而阐释圆觉经变像中的佛教中国化意趣。
Abstract
Buddhist statues are the artistic products of the characteristics of the times, craftsmanship, peoples beliefs and local culture. The figure of Sutra of Perfect Enlightenment Sutra, as an important classic of Chinese Buddhism, is widely spread in Southwest China. Its characteristics of "sharing the same Huayan" belong to the category of "Sinicization". Therefore, exploring this figure can be regarded as a way to analyze the Sinicization of Buddhism. This figure is mainly lies in the Yuanjue cave Grottoes in Dazu Baoding mountain and this paper is going to analyze the reasons why this figure can be carved there with the perspective of "image basis". Combing with the era background, humanistic characteristics and belief characteristics, and then explains the Sinicization of Buddhism in the figure of Sutra of Perfect Enlightenment.
