Objective To observe the role of information management in the process of nursing managementin the disinfection supply center in improving the quality of nursing in this area. Methods The hospital began tocarry out the information management of the disinfection supply center in 2021, and analyzed the quality of nursingwork within one year before and after the management. Results The satisfaction of each department to the nursingwork in the disinfection supply room before and after the implementation was higher than that before theimplementation, P<0.05. The incidence of adverse events before and after the implementation was lower than thatbefore the implementation (P<0.05). By comparing the quality scores of device cleaning, device packaging, devicedistribution and nursing management records before and after the implementation, the scores of each link after theimplementation were higher than those before the implementation, with a statistically significant difference ofP<0.05.Conclusion The information management in the daily nursing management of the disinfection supplycenter can effectively improve the quality of nursing management in this aspect, reduce the incidence of adverseevents, and increase the satisfaction of clinical departments to the nursing work of the disinfection supply center.
