Developing characteristic agriculture vigorously is an important starting point for comprehensively implementing rural revitalization strategy and an important strategic choice for constructing modern agriculture industry system. Therefore, it has an important theoretical significance and practical role in the development of characteristic agriculture under the background of rural revitalization. Through investigation, it is found that in recent years, Zhuzhou city has developed characteristic agriculture vigorously by relying on the local natural endowment, and achieved good economic and social benefits, but there are still problems such as insufficient supporting policies, farmers weak ability to resist risks, low added value of characteristic agricultural products, and shortage of talents. With the theme of focusing on Zhuzhou Citys development of characteristic agriculture to help rural revitalization, this paper analyzes the development status of characteristic agriculture industry, and then proposes measures to strengthen the top-level design of characteristic agriculture development policy,improve rural infrastructure construction, promote the development of characteristic industry cluster, activate the characteristic agricultural science and technology promotion reserve force, to promote the local characteristic agriculture high quality, healthy and sustainable development.
