Chronic ulcerative colitis is referred to as UC for short. It mainly occurs in the colonic mucosa.Its clinical characteristics are inflammation, involving the rectum and distal colon, but it may extend to theproximal end and spread throughout the colon in a continuous manner. Patients with ulcerative colitis have complexconditions and are prone to relapse after treatment. The main symptoms of patients are abdominal pain, weight loss,vomiting, etc. This situation will make the mental state of patients very negative, Patients will feel anxiety anddepression, and their quality of life will also be affected. Chronic ulcerative colitis usually occurs repeatedly andlasts for a long time. The physical and mental health of patients are affected to different degrees. At present, thetreatment of the disease is not perfect, and effective nursing is needed to assist in the treatment of the disease, so asto achieve good results. This article reviews and analyzes the literature related to psychological nursing of thedisease in this study, summarizes the previous nursing measures and related research, and thus summarizes the newway of nursing for such patients, so as to improve the quality of life of patients and improve the positive emotion ofpatients, and puts forward a basis and reference for future patients with such diseases.
