Objective To explore the role of bedside nursing intervention in the nursing of children withpneumonia. Methods The study was carried out in combination with the method of comparative nursing analysis.68 children with pneumonia who were admitted from February 2021 to April 2022 were selected as the subjects.They were divided into the control group (34 cases, providing routine nursing) and the observation group (34 cases,nursing was carried out according to the bedside nursing system) by double blind method. The symptomimprovement time, hospitalization time and adverse reactions of the two groups were analyzed. Results Comparedwith the two groups, the time of symptom disappearance, the time of blood routine examination returning to normal,the time of wet rale disappearance and the time of hospitalization in the observation group were shorter than thosein the control group (P<0.05). By comparing the nursing satisfaction of family members of the two groups, theobservation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in theobservation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Carrying out nursing workaccording to bedside nursing work system when nursing children with infantile pneumonia can shorten the time forimprovement of symptoms of children, speed up recovery of children, shorten hospital stay, improve parentssatisfaction with nursing and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
