Objective To study the implementation of the integrated management model of medical and nursing care in day chemotherapy wards. Methods Determine the objects of hospital day chemotherapy admission, clarify the process of patients diagnosis and treatment, carry out innovation based on the traditional management model, optimize and improve the new management model, and realize the innovation of the integrated management model of the day chemotherapy ward. Results According to the data research, the day ward can save about 50% of the cost of human resources in the traditional allocation of medical staff. In addition, the daily ward rotation work has also increased from 1 to 2-3 times, and the number of patients admitted each month has increased from 200-300 in the traditional management mechanism to 900. Conclusion The integrated management mode of medical and nursing care in day chemotherapy wards is implemented in general hospitals, which can give patients a better diagnosis and treatment experience, save a lot of chemotherapy costs, alleviate the current situation of difficult chemotherapy for cancer patients, and improve the diagnosis and treatment satisfaction of patients and their families.
