Objective Analyze and discuss the clinical efficacy of nutritional support assisted treatment for severe pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods 56 patients with severe pulmonary tuberculosis admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to June 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and were evenly divided into an observation group (nutritional support assisted treatment) and a control group (conventional treatment). The self-care ability, nutritional status, and lung function of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the self-care ability assessment of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the nutritional status was better than that of the control group, and the lung function was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Nutritional support assisted treatment for severe pulmonary tuberculosis patients can effectively improve their nutritional status and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
