Objective To clarify the value of wound specialist nursing in primary hospitals in wound repair, aiming to promote the research and development of wound repair nursing. Methods A total of 99 patients with chronic refractory wounds treated in primary hospitals from September 2023 to September 2024 were included in the study. They were divided into two groups by random number table method, with 47 and 52 patients in the control group and the observation group, respectively. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the observation group received wound specialist nursing intervention. The effects of different interventions (clinical indicators, negative emotions) were compared and analyzed. Results The clinical indicators and negative emotions in the observation group were lower, and the P value results were <0.05, with a large statistical difference. Conclusion In primary hospitals, wound specialist nursing measures are applied in wound repair, which is conducive to reducing the frequency of dressing changes, promoting wound healing, alleviating patients negative emotions caused by diseases, promoting physical and mental health, and allowing patients to be discharged as soon as possible.
