Objective To evaluate the effect of perioperative comfort care during vitrectomy for patients with complex retinal detachment. Methods A total of 180 patients with complex retinal detachment admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were divided into observation group and control group with 90 cases in each group according to the difference of nursing methods. Vitrectomy was performed in both groups. The control group received perioperative routine nursing and the observation group received perioperative comfort nursing. The effect of intervention was compared. Results The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The comfort score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05). The compliance rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the comparison was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Perioperative comfort nursing can reduce the risk of complications, improve the comfort and compliance of patients, and ensure the satisfaction of patients, which has the value of popularization.
