Objective To explore the effect of high quality nursing on the prevention of complications in elderly patients with choledocholithiasis (CBD) treated with ERCP. Methods A total of 62 elderly CBD patients (all of whom were treated with ERCP) admitted to our hospital from March 2020.3 to March 2021.3 were randomly divided into reference group (31 cases, conventional surgical care) and observation group (31 cases, conventional + high-quality care). The postoperative rehabilitation indexes and the pain of patients on the first, second and fifth days after surgery were compared between the two groups, and the occurrence of complications was observed. Results The first time patients got out of bed, exhaust time and total hospital stay in observation group were lower than those in reference group, and the VAS scores of patients on day 1, day 2 and day 5 after surgery were lower than those in reference group, and the incidence of postoperative complications was less than that in reference group, the comparison results were all (P < 0.05). Conclusion The use of high-quality nursing model for elderly patients undergoing ERCP surgery for CBD can promote patient recovery, relieve postoperative pain, and prevent the risk of complications.
