Objective To explore the effect of endocaval electrocardiogram combined with ultrasonic guidance on the tip location of PICC catheterization (peripheral venipentesis central venous catheterization). Methods Sixty patients who received PICC catheterization in our hospital from January 2022 to February 2023 were included in the control group, and ultrasound-guided catheterization was performed. Sixty patients who received PICC catheterization in our hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the observation group, and intracavitary electrocardiogram combined with ultrasound guided catheterization was given. The application effect of two kinds of catheterization methods was compared. Results ① There was little difference in the success rate of first puncture between the two groups (P > 0.05). ② The accuracy and satisfaction of patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05), and the puncture time, puncture pain index and total complication rate in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The accuracy of PICC catheterization under the guidance of ultrasound and intracavitary electrocardiogram is higher, and it is more in line with clinical needs.
