Objective: To evaluate the curative effect of lumbar disc herniation treated with column intervertebral foraminal surgery. Methods: 100 patients with lumbar disc herniation who were operated in our hospital from January 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the sample. The patients were divided into two groups based on the difference of surgical methods. The control group received conventional open surgery, while the observation group received endoscopic surgery. The postoperative lumbar function, pain score and complications of the two groups were evaluated and compared. Results: The score of lumbar function in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, while the score of lumbar pain was lower than that in the control group (P<0.001). The incidence of postoperative complications in this group (4.00%) was lower than that in the control group (16.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of column intervertebral foraminoscope in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation has excellent results.
